IMAGINE made Mandela Day 2014 one to be remembered at the United Cerebral Palsy Association (UCPA)
Sponsored by SIS Global, IMAGINEwas able to contribute R10k worth of non-perishable grocery items to the residents of the UCPA for Mandela Day 2014.
Together, IMAGINE and SIS Global touched hearts on this special day spreading an abundance of joy, laughter, music and fun! We spent time with the residents, chatted to them, danced with them, exchanged lots of hugs and took loads of pictures. We extend a huge thank you to Lloyd and Ralph Daniel who brought life to our visit with their live guitar and banjo music which the residents were blown away with and have asked repeatedly for them to please visit again. One resident was so excited he got out of his wheelchair and onto his knees to dance. It was truly a blessing to have been in the presence of such joy.
We hope you will enjoy our video and pictures of our experience on Mandela Day 2014.
Our sincere gratitude goes out to SIS Global for their continued support to IMAGINE. A special thanks to Alasdair Hawley, Managing Director of SIS Global for taking time out of the business to join us on this visit. We know it touched the hearts of their staff and gave them a clearer vision of our goals and passion which they have supported since day one. It was an honour to share the experience with the SIS Global team.
We thank our belated hero, Tata Madiba for having blessed us with a day in which the world is inspired to do so much good for humanity. IMAGINE will be honouring Madiba’s memory later this year in a big way so watch this space!
We aspire to make everyday a Mandela Day! Long live the memory of Nelson Mandela…
