Shonaquip Wheelchair Donation

On Friday 17 March, IMAGINE Charity director Karenin Daniel Hawley donated this custom-made Shonaquip wheelchair to United Cerebral Palsy Association of SA (UCPA) for charming 3-year-old Keitunetse Malebe (Kitty) and was received by executive director Marie van Den Berg and Doreen Louw.

Thank you, Antoinette Harvie and Maxim Against All Odds for donating this special wheelchair,
Kitty joined the UCPA family as a permanent resident in 2016. This sweet, smiling toddler is determined to do tasks that are difficult, such as learn how to hold a cup by herself.

Cerebral Palsy often impacts fine motor skills, and holding utensils is a real challenge. With the encouragement, knowledge and support of her caregivers, Kitty continues to develop and practice every day with enthusiasm.

Giving love and affection to her caregivers, listening to music and singing are her favourite things to do.

We wish her much joy with this assistive device.
