IMAGINE Charity kicked off the New Year with a successful collaboration between Crawford Preparatory, Crawford Pre-Primary and Concord College in the first, of what we hope will be many, Funky Flip Flop Fridays. Students, staff and parents alike were encouraged to participate in this fun event by decorating their funky flip flops and so many went to great lengths to come up with unique ideas – from balloons to almonds to cardboard cutouts, it was awesome to see imaginations run wild!
This event was initially designed to be hosted by Crawford Preparatory School, who on the 24th January 2014 held their annual inter-house swimming gala, however as word spread so the event grew and before we knew we had not only 1 enthusiastic school involved but 3! IMAGINE extends a huge thank you to the principals of each school, who together made this event possible.
Lastly, we thank the students, staff and parents for helping us raise in excess of R8 900, we look forward to an even bigger and better event next year.
